Response To A Lying Catholic Who Can’t Read Pt. 2
For the context of this article, please see part 1.
Please note that newlin83’s comments are blocked. He cannot read and so he is not expected to understand the content of these articles. These articles are for the benefit of someone who is wavering between the faith of the New Testament and the faith of the blasphemous, pagan bloody killers in Rome. Hopefully the choice is clear.
As usual, my comments are in bold.
——————————————————
It’s a sin to presume salvation. Thank you for your opinion. But what saith the Scriptures? This is absolute novelty and is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. Thank you for your opinion. But what saith the Scriptures? Even the most radical reformers weren’t so bold as to be assured of their salvation like this. Who cares about the Reformers? What saith the Scriptures? With your logic, working out your salvation with fear and trembling means nothing. Now we see why you don’t reference the Scriptures. Because you don’t know anything about them. You are referencing Phil 2:12, “…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” But you didn’t notice the beginning of the verse which is addressed to the “beloved”. These are already saved people. What does “work out” mean. Do I go to the gym to get muscle or to strengthen muscle that is already there? Of course the muscle is already there. If you “work out” salvation, you are strengthening salvation that is already there. Receiving grace through the sacraments, This is not found in the Scriptures. amending your life, It’s good, but has nothing to do with New Testament salvation. and mortifying the flesh (to tame the threefold concupiscence) is the path. Sure, other than the pagan, superstitious “sacraments,” it is the path that a man should walk AFTER salvation. None of these things can save a man. To teach otherwise is a DOCTRINE OF A PHARISEE. This is the path of life that all Christians have followed, but heretics have endless variations of beliefs about salvation. What does this prove? Unlike you, I don’t care what people who call themselves “Christians” believe and teach. I care what the Scriptures say. You don’t. Some deny marriage totally (e.g. stoics) This is a doctrine of devils according to 1 Tim 4. and others teach that sin cannot change anything in regards to salvation. Like Paul? “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Rom 8:38-39. If you think that sin can change “anything in regards to salvation” for a New Testament Christian, then you are a Bible rejecting fool, Newlin83. We’ve now officially proven it multiple times. Nobody is assured of their salvation This is what a lost man would say. It is NOT true of the faith of the New Testament. If you repent and receive Jesus Christ as your Saviour, you will be BORN AGAIN. After that, you cannot be unborn again. “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” 1John 5:13. Go by the Scriptures, not newlin83’s opinions. and nobody knows when you’ll die, so you must always follow all of the commandments, You don’t, so by your own faith, you will burn in hell unfortunately. Fortunately, the Bible says differently, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” Rom 3:20 mortify your flesh, Then you’re in trouble, eh? constantly do the will of God, Then you’re in trouble, eh? judge nobody else, I guess you’re not very spiritual. “But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.” 1Co 2:15. “Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.” Pro 28:5. and pray endlessly. Then you’re in trouble, eh? No amount of rosaries, novenas, or pilgrimages will do anything for you if you don’t love God with your whole heart Then you’re in trouble, eh? and do all that Christ commanded. Then you’re in trouble, eh? Ever call someone a “fool”? Then you’re in trouble. “…whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.” Matt 5:22. Did you ever preach to a non Jew? “…Go not into the way of the Gentiles,” Matt 10:5. “Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.” Mat 10:9-10. Ever carry money? You’re in trouble. Wear shoes? You’re in trouble. Two coats? You’re in trouble. Face it, sonny. You’re not making out too good by your own standards. That’s why you need to repent and trust Christ. “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” Rom 4:5.
No church membership will save you. Agreed. From my readings and experience, I believe about 2% of those who claim to be Christians will be saved, and the rest go to hell. Fair enough, but this is just your opinion. This is their own choosing because they have free will, and they hate God and prefer the devil. True, but it’s because they couldn’t stop trusting their own righteousness and trust the righteousness of Christ instead. You, newlin 83, are lost in tresspasses and sins ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES. “For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.” Rom 10:3-4.
I believe all Protestants go to hell, because their doctrines lead directly to Satan, and they refuse to strive for unity. Partially true. The world is full of lost Protestants who are trusting their own righteousness and not Christ. Just like newlin83. Newlin83’s reasons are just his opinion. On the day of their death, Christ will simply ask, “do you love me?” and Protestants will have to answer “no” because they did not follow all that Christ taught, You don’t either. especially in regards to self-denial, chastity, and humility. You don’t either. The ones who will make it to heaven are those who are humble, chaste, obedient to all the commandments of Christ, and who truly love God and want to do his Holy Will. Nope salvation depends on receiving Christ, not works. Look again at the verses we have already seen. Here is another. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12. And another. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;” Tit 3:5. Apparently, you are too busy studying the Cat-o-holic church and not the Bible to notice these verses that fly completely in the face of what your anti-Biblical superstition called Roman Catholic Papism.
Today, Protestants boldly allow for multiple marriage, contraception, and divorce for any reasons. There are 2 reasons, in the Bible, that allow divorce. Who cares what other Christians say? They are: fornication (Matt 19:9) and desertion (I Cor 7:15). Death is also a de facto divorce. Christians have always said marriage is permanent, sex is only for children, That is creepy and you should have reworded it. Freudian slip, much? Haha. and that remarriage is discouraged in all cases, even widowhood. False according to the Scriptures. (Rom 7:1-4). How many times must you publicly go against the Scriptures, sonny???
Hell will be full of bishops, monks, nuns, popes, and laymen of all kinds (Catholic, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox). Church membership is only the first step, but the striving takes a lifetime. True, but salvation in the New Testament is predicated on one thing. “And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Act 16:30-3. You are either trusting Christ alone or yourself alone. After that, you should exercise your faith, by telling Catholics that the Bible contradicts their pagan belief system. And other things, too. Haha.
Jesus saves. Rome Enslaves.
No hope in the Pope.
