Notes for Hebrew Roots Movement for your Visitation Bible

Hebrew Roots

Phil 3:1-8 – Why combine NT Christianity with “dung”?

Acts 15 vs 1,2 – Is the law part of salvation?  Answered in chapter.

vs 4,5 – How to stay saved?  Answered in chapter.

vs 7-10 – Peter: don’t put yoke of law on believers.

vs 19-20 – Nothing like Hebrew Roots doctrine.

vs 24 – No one ever told to go back to Hebrew Roots.

Matt 23:8 – Don’t be called “Rabbi”.

Phil 2:9-11 – The KJB says the English spelling of the Hebrew word ישוע  is “Jesus”.

  • The King James Bible is our final authority.

Ps 83:18 – The KJB says the the English spelling of the Hebrew word יהוה  is “Jehovah”.

  • Never Yahweh.  That is a pagan deity.

Col 2:10-23 – Sabbaths, Jewish feast days are gone.

Deut 16:16 – HRM doesn’t really celebrate Feasts.  They must be kept in Jerusalem.

I Tim 4:3-6 – No dietary laws in NT.

Galatians:  Whole book devoted to HRM.

1:6,7 – HRM is perverting the Gospel.

1:13,14 – Jewish religion clearly differentiated from NT Christianity.

2:3-5 – Paul wouldn’t circumcise Titus.  Law keepers put us back into bondage.

2:9 – Paul’s teachings endorsed by original apostles.

2:11-16 – Paul right, Peter wrong.  Peter couldn’t live law.  Why make Gentiles try?

2:18 – Jewish religion destroyed.  Why try and rebuild it?  We’re dead to it.

3:1-3 – Can’t start with faith and end with works.

3:10-14 – Can’t really live law.  Especially without temple.  Christ redeemed us from law.

4:9,10 – Jewish religion is weak, beggardly.

    1. The internet is so weird. The people that publicly connect to my article are the people that my article is against. Jeshuaists are in the Hebrew Roots Movement. If you want to know what’s wrong with them, then read Galatians. Also, from reading their site, they are teaching the heresies of multiple versions, Sabbath observance, and Arianism. Whoever linked to this site needs to also read my article about the Deity of Christ.
